Any possible problems with this hardware?

Hi everyone. Just joined up here on recommendation of a friend..

I'm planning to build a computer (My first attempt), and just looking for any possible problems or incompatibilties anyone can spot with the hardware i picked.

Here is what i got so far:
Case:
Antec 900 - Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case with 200m Top Fan w/o PSU

GFX Card:
256MB XFX 8800GT PCI-E (x16), 1400 MHz, GDDR3, GPU 600 MHz, 2 x Dual Link DVI-I HDTV

RAM:
2GB (2x1GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, DHX

Processor:
Intel Core 2 Quad-Core Q6600 G0 SLACR, 95W, S775, 2.40 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 8MB Cache, Retail

PSU:
520W Coolermaster Real Power M520 Modular PSU 2xPCI-E >80% Efficiency

HDD:
500 GB Western Digital WD5000AAKS Caviar SE16, SATA II, 7200 rpm, 16MB Cache, 8.9 ms

Motherboard:
ASUS SKT-775 P5K DELUXE WIFI-AP S/L 1333FSB

DVD Drive:

If anyone wants to make any recommendations, or adjustments, please do.

Nope, for once, i think you have made the perfect rig. Congrats.

And i usually have something to say!

If i had to pick something, id say go 3gb or 4gb RAM and that PSU a little low wattage.

i recomende all the parts for him..he had a slighly bigger budget than mine..oh and he forgot to say up there that he is getting the same 19" screen as me to have dual monitors...

get the 512 GT instead, thats my 2 cents


256 barely cuts in now in games like Crysis and other next gen games

And since you'll be buying the PSU so get a little bit more juicier one, say 600W-700W even though 520W will perfectly run the system. You won't upgrade too often the PSU so make it one that can take multiple rounds of up-grades.

I would like get a better PSU and increase the GFX card to 512 but the build is stretching the budget as it is. If i can get hold of the money i will upgrade them.

looks good i almost picked up the 6850 but i had to save alittle money i was on a budget (the wife) lol
