    8600gt or Hd 2600 Pro

    I have been looking on the net for a new graphics card and saw these, both Asus. Are these cards good enough play to games such as bf2, etqw maybe crysis?

    ati hd 2600pro


    nvidia 8600gt


    how come the nvidia is $138 and ddr3?

    also which one would should i get?

    the only card that will play crysis are the 8800's you can get a 8800GT for about 240.. if you have the money dont go with the low end cards like the 8600 they will not run any new game..

          lol? my 8600GT plays every game new game at high graphic settings at 30fps+ except for crysis. this includes bioshock, cod4, gears of war, UT3 demo...

            Just save your money and get an 8800GT. If you're going to buy a new card specifically for gaming you might as well get something that you can run almost any game with full graphics settings.

            But even a 6800GT will run BF2.

            Either way, go for the Nvidia.

              Nvidia gets my vote too. The 8800GT is a really good buy if you can get the money together, even if it means waiting another month or two to save the money i think it's definitely worth it.
