    512mb vram?

That's what dxdiag says on my system, but on the box of my 7300LE, it says, "Supports up to 256mb", the actual card has 128mb of VRAM. Now on the back it says up 256mb VRAM with Turbocache, so why is it telling me I have 512mg of VRAM?

Because it will borrow system memory (AKA RAM) to help cache data.

I know what Turbocache does, it says up to 256 mb on the box. Oh well not complaining that I'm getting twice the VRAM!

Because it's really, really useful on a 7300...

You won't be playing on high enough graphics or resolution to need more than 128mb

Darn. At least I'm getting a 8800GT soon. Or a ATi 38-wahtever the rest of the numbers are. I really don't know.

And couldn't I turn up my textures a bit?

With 7300LE you couldn't, but with whatever you are getting you could! :yay:

Hey it's not bad for $20, it can play 2142 decently.
