    Ati?

Hi to all out there in Total land

I for the most part am a nvidia&Intel fanboy I guess,I do not know much about ATI cards, but it sure does look like they are pumpin out some pretty kick a** cards these days.

I am looking at building a new rig in spring some time,i have never ran AMD or ATI,Im willing to take any advice from the Total Crew that i can get.

The basic run down of my specs are
    XP Pro(Dont want vista yet)
    2gigs DDR2
    600watt psu
    320 gig hdd
    EVGA nForce680i mobo/duo core E6300
    Asus 8800GtX 768mb

Its a good reliable rig,it was built when the Video card was Still at Top$ (Should have waited) And when the Mobo was first released
(I say that so i can give some sort of time frame it was built)

    But,as i said i think i would like to try a AMD/ATI rig once,or showld I stay Intel/Nvidia?

What Do those that have Ran both have to say?

    Thanks for your time guys.:salute::salute:

well i was like you always had intel and ATI, but decided when i built my new rig to try amd/nvidia,

      Asus Crosshair ROG SLI Mobo
      AMD A2 6400+ CPU
      4GB 6400 Geil Ram
BFG Nvidia 8800GTX 768mb GFX Card
Running XP 64bit (because some boards that have built in 64bit processign won't allow you to install 32bit correctly)

I will never look back, IMO it kicks ***...

I have used ATI, Nvidia, AMD and Intel in various combinations, and never really had any issues except a G4 Ti 4200 that was replaced under warranty.

I just look at the reviews and get what is most bang-for-the-buck at the moment, be it ATI or Nvidia
