    2.0 Ghz vs. 1.66Ghz

    Hi, I’m in the process of getting a new laptop but I’m not too good with the Hardware stuff. The processor vs. RAM debate is the hardest for me. Would a 1.66 GHz processor (T5450) and 2 GB of RAM be better than a 2.0 GHz processor (T7250) with 1 GB of RAM? Both processors are Intel, Core 2 Duo’s and have 2MB cache’s.

      2GHz with 2GB, get 1GB and upgrade later.

      Not exactly a large difference in cpu power though.

          exactly! memory is one of the only things upgradeable in a laptop. get the better cpu!!!
