Ok,

My Long distance buddy, has a pc, he wants to know if this would run BF2!


Specs

CPU ~ AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+, MMZ, 3D Now, 1.7GHz
RAM ~ 512mb
GFX ~ NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 With AGP 8X


Now i know this wouldnt run BF2, But what would he need, And can you link me up!

HE HAS A VERY SMALL BUDGET!
So cheapest, just to run it on Low/Medium if still cheap!

Can you use Australian Websites, as he is australian, also buying elsewere would result in huge Shipping Fees!!

No, The gfx card does not support DX9 therefore it will fail to run, it may not even install.

He needs atleast 1GB RAM to run BF2 smoothly and a DX9 gfx card with aleast 128MB of VRAM something like th 6600GT will do nicely.

Check out ebay, they have some cheap stuff.

hmm doesn't anyone know how to use Google anymore or even read the outside of the boxes for these games on requirements? :shakehead:

i would get a 6600...maybe 5500 if he really desnt have the money. the rest of his system pretty much sucks and limits his graphics to low and maybe some medium
