    .RAR files

I cant open .rar files anymore. An example is tpaint, if you dont know its a program that helps with bf2 mod editor. Anyway, each time i try to open it, only get the option to save it to disk or cancel. I know for a matter of fact that i used to be able to open it.

I guess the program i used to open .rar's got deleted, so can someone tell me a solution or a FREE .rar archiver? Thanks in advance.

winrar has always worked good. try 7zip for unpacking its a lot faster than winrar. unforunatly it cant create .rar's.

, archiver, compression, zip, best, compress, high, ratio, free, gnu, lgpl, unzip, far, win32, 7zip, long, file, names

(based on that screenshot your .rar file association is broke.)

Ok thanks for the quick replies. I thought of winrar but i read somewhere "free to try, $30" but i guess its free. I dont know how or why .rar files wouldnt open anymore, but thanks again.
