Upgrade problem
Hey folks. I just recently bought BF2. So i install it and I have version 1.1.2 something. I've downloaded the 1.4 patch and the 1.41 patch. When I install the 1.4 patch, it runs, says it finished, but when I start up BF2, it still says 1.1.2. Anybody had this happen?

1.1.2 is NOT THE PATCH VERSION!!!!
Jesus people, is it that hard to understand? Install and run the patch, and your good to go okay? Now stop asking about this (note: this IS the fourth-fifth one I've seen.) -

I realize that 1.1.2 is the retail. And I ran the patch. You may have misread my post. I said that when I ran the 1.4 patch, it ran, but didn't actually upgrade the version of BF2Comment

Hi,
The version that BF2 says in-game is never what it is actually patched to. I have 1.41 and BF2 reports this in-game as 1.1.265-797.0. I would just install 1.41 and see if it works.
