    Graphics Card Question

I have a Gateway computer. And the graphics card is an "nVidia GeForce 6100" and I read the battlefield system requirements and I'm not sure if this is going to be good enough or not. It has 256.0 MB but I'm worried because this game has steep requirements and I just wanted to make sure before I actually buy it.

    Re: Graphics Card Question

Well, I have a 5200FX 128mb graphics card in my pentium 4, 756mb ram compaq PC and it can play the game on all low settings at 800x600 resolution and gets about 20 - 30 FPS. I'm gonna assume you've got a better processor and more ram than me. So I don't see why you wouldn't be able to play, atleast on low settings.

Also, you can download the demo and see for sure. There's not a huge performance difference between the demo and retail. maybe a couple FPS here and there.

sounds like onboard gfx to me,
i would try the demo 1st to make sure..but the demo will probaly give u a false reading as it runs better than the patched game.

you may want to invest in a 7600gt or a ati1950pro if you want the game to look good, plus 2gb of ram helps no end salute:

go here, hit bf2 in drop down box, then hit "can i run it" look over results really good.
Check your system requirements. Can I Run it? Test your specs and rate your gamimg PC.

256mbs of ram IMO isnt enough to play the game right, will take alot fo page filing on your HD. but do the link, and if it passes download the demo & try before you buy.
