help me please!!!(crashing problem)

hey guys, i have a compaq presario sr1950nx... I added 512 mb more of ram and i need to ask a question. When I play battlefield 2, I can play for hours on end in single player with no problems or lagging(low graphics.)
When I go to play multiplayer, I pick a server, click join, then the sound skips for about half a second and the game crashes down to desktop. The funny thing is, I had battlefield on there before, and it worked fine, but now... after i formatted it, it doesn't.

have you tried updating your GFX drivers? or have you tried deleting your cache in My documents>Battlefield 2>mods>BF2>cache?

i have updated graphics drivers, and i just deleted cache.. thanks!


edit: i just tried it, and it doesn't work still.... btw i am upgrading graphics card/motherboard/cpu
any reccomendations?

Try updating punkbuster, might help

again, already did that.... i'm running out of ideas... :/ i think its my graphics card... would it help at all if i made a movie with fraps of whats happening?

you need a better graphics singleplayer is different then mulitplayer

yeah, thats what i thought... would it be worth it to upgrade motherboard/cpu also?
