k nvm i got that, but when i put in 192.168.1.1 into the address, the username and pw is default so how would you change that? Will that make the router more secure? When changing your ssid and pw/username, do you have to do that on every computer? Is it necessary?

the username/pw to get into the router is different from the wireless key,

i dont know what make/model your router is so i dont know where you have to look
