Some support for an hd2900xt

Hello all Ijust built my rig

6750 intel dual core
hd2900xt 512
2 gigs ddr3 ram
600 watt psu
250 g wd hd
vista 32 bit


Anyways I should be able to run nasa with thus rig and im getting terrible framerates in bf2??? I have the newest driver, bio's etc... Am i missing something any suggestions? I am not a cp whiz I am a hands on learner so talk to me in dummy talk please lol thxs

My frame rates are quite high with all the settings maxed out around 100 fps but the problem i have is they drop down to like 20 then 12 lower and lower to unplayable levels. I have done some research and get the impression vista does not like bf2. They seem to drop the worst when flying in a plane and chopper

Sounds like a memory leak somewhere from back my the C++ days. What kind of RAM and page file usage are you looking at? Need help finding it?

It's not necessarily Vista. I use Vista x64 and love it for games except MOH:Airborne.

Not to sure crusher on the info plus im not at home right now but I would appreciate if you could steer me in the right direction to check my memory usage.

have you installed latest drivers?

7.10's were tweaked for fps.
