    PC Help

    for some reason when I got home today, my PC was shut off even though I left it on for a demo. This is really weird and I'm not sure what happened lol....

    Specs
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
    2 Gigs DDR2
    Evga Geforce 8800 GTS 320mb
    EVGA 590 SLI

      Hmm...maybe your settings are to where it shuts off after a period of time? My lappy does that, but I changed it to stay on until I turn it off..

      Other than that I can't see anything else man..

          Hey,

          Auto-Updates, can actually switch the machine off once its installed!

          Might be the culprit!

                      Maybe power saving settings, maybe updates, maybe a system error( like BSOD for no reason). My old laptop used to do that on occasion.

                          Most likely a short power cut and your BIOS settings are set not to reboot after power outage.

                              How old are you? If you don't live alone, maybe someone accidentally turned off the computer. I can't believe no one thought of that :P
