Actually, let me rephrase, I have the Medusa 5.1, but find it very cumbersome and warm on the old ears. The sound quality is fine, but I have to select it in 2.1 mode in Windows Sound settings or I cannot hear anyone on TS, so I was thinking of swapping it out for a new headset.

I used to own the Plantronics Gamecom 1 and seem to remember it being a very good headset, but maybe that's just a rosy memory.

I'm looking for superb sound quality with comfortable earpieces that don't feel like you've fixed 2 extremely warm rabbits to your head, can you help?

if your having these problems with it then your not setting it up correctly... running this set in anything besides 5.1 and its a waste. TS will work with 5.1.

why give up using that Ferrari to drive a pinto when you just don't know how to drive it yet?

Nice analogy, however I have tried messing with the settings in Windows, TS etc... to no avail.

Are there any expansive set up tutorials out there?

sounds like its driver releated or software other than windows audio setup... you are using a audio card or onboard?

                  Re: Logitech Gaming Headset

I've switched it back to 5.1 in Windows settings, went onto TS last night and I could barely here anyone speaking. The sound in BF2 was fine, but I cranked TS right up and it was still very quiet.

Surely someone else must be using this headset with TS and has got the settings to work?
