This is going to tech centre.

Not only have you gone overkill, you have even managed to include hardware that doesn't even exist yet. GG.

        We can all dream Neo

There is also a secret special edition x-fi board with EVEN MORE numbers substituted for letters in the name.

On this, I can say nothing more.

I'm surprised he didnt choose the penryn quad core line or is it a different name for the quads and the penryn is the dual? Either way, he forgot about it. :)

SLI certification wont be enough for him he needs the quad core and vista ready certs too to run the pc. If one component doesn't have all three certifications, it will fail miserably.

                          sigh.. this isnt offtopic.

yes his setup is OTT for the present day but he wont be able to get his hands on the GPU till next year and since there are no specs about it no-one can tell you how long it is how much power it will comsume.

that bit made me laugh as you wouldnt get an 8800GTX if you had a 19"

Why not? High resolution on a small monitor looks absolutely superb. The whole point of high-res is to lower the dpi...

my personal opinion from playing on 17"/19" to 22" i wouldnt go back to 19", games look a hell of alot nicer on higher resolutions
