I did, but the damn thing is CTD on me since the move:cry:, kinda distraught over the whole thing

Just finished a miltary move to FT HOOD, just got my PC back and up and running:yay: (gone two months or so)

I had a brief adventure with BF2 before the move back to the US, about a month or so, but now somewhat settled in and back, PR issue is resolved so I'm all over the place now. I'm sure you'll see me getting creamed on the battlefield, but making headway. Spent along time on the BF2142 world til I retro'ed back to to BF2, hard to do the future thing now.

You don't have to the the above suggested...
Answered my own question, here's why;
If you don't want to lose your BF2 progress (ie; unlocks/ rank) do this.
Copy/ Paste your BF2 folder, and rename it, like BF2PR(or something). Remember to keep it in the same area that you found it ( EA folder, if you have more than one EA game)
Go to the Mod you want, save it to the copy, not the original (look for the installer in the new downloaded folder) Gotta do that right!. The Mods work just fine, they even work with the desktop icons provided during the install, and you don't lose anything in your BF2 game, and you get your Mod.:yay:
Learned this from the Praetorians over at the Total War forums, by the way...Rome Total realism Rocks!
