I buyed 2*1 GB A-DATA 800Mhz ram DDR2, but my video card support only 633 and 533. I put 1 ram already in because rams run by the slowest ram, now i have 1512mb ram, 1 gb is sitting on my desk. Can i put 2 800 mhz ram to my motherboard without harming it?

Re: Ram N Stuff
Mhh, i have 2048 mb ram now, but speed is still 633, but it needs to be 800.
Where do i see speed what ram have himself, maybe motherboard blocking some mhz
Okay, i looked everest littlebit. It seems ram are
System Memory 2048 MB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
And speed
Speed 667 MHz
Very weird? And Scinto says it will work. But speed 667 mhz, it needs to be 800mhzComment

Re: Ram N Stuff
its your motherboard, it doesnt support Ram speeds of 800mhz so it will run at the max speed the board allows which is 667mhz, either see if you can return the Ram and get slower speeds stuff or get a new motherboard.Mhh, i have 2048 mb ram now, but speed is still 633, but it needs to be 800.
