I don't know what exactly you mean by "clock", but you can't change any clock speed on an Intel motherboard. So you can't overclock or underclock. Intel locks these features on their motherboards. Sorry.
If you're asking if a E6300 will work in you motherboard, it will according to Intel's website. -

I think what he is asking is if he can OC his cpu and if so, where is it done.
That is exactly why I'm staying away from this thread because I am not familiar to that board and it most likely has a different BIOS than mine. I know that some boards can be a pain in the arse to try to OC with and then there is my board I have now and its so simple it may even be easier than taking candy from a baby...
Best advice is to go into dxdiag and look up the model name of your mobo and find out exactly what you have, then see if you need to update the BIOS. If you can find something that explains the BIOS you may be able to learn how to OC if at all possible... I really don't know, thats my guess. Have fun, you don't really need to OC though just to let you know... It's pretty pointless if your just playing bf2...Comment

I need clock my cpu for bf2, it laggs littlebit i dont know why, when i first buyed this computer it worked fine any servers max graphic and all, but now it laggs littlebit with over 30 player, its very bad i cant fly heli very good. I look from dxdiag what i have. I have everest also

The lag has got nothing to do with your E6300. That thing is fine, if not better than recommended for BF2. It will be something else. You do not need to overclock your CPU.Comment

Its probably because you have 1GB of RAM
2gb is alot better as the map loads faster and you dont get the stuttering for the first couple of munites when you enter the mapComment

As for kratt, I think you problem is in your RAM and video card. Like alex98uk said, you need another GB of RAM. That will help the lag go away.
If you can play at max settings with a 7600GT, you are obviously playing at 1024x768. I don't think any other upgrades are necessary to play at that resolution. The only thing I would get would be another GB of RAM. Good Luck!Comment

You can buy 800mhz, although it will automatically slow down to run at the speed of the slowest ram in your computer.
So, if you buy 800mhz, but you currently have 667mhz, the new stuff will automatically slow down to 667mhz. IE. They won't run at different speeds, always at the slowest speed.Comment
