Desknote B660 - need a few answers

I need a few answers that I just cant find out on my own, google, Everest, all checked out and Im hitting a wall where I can no longer really understand.

Simple setup, its a laptop

Its got a
Core 2 Duo T5600 processor
1 Gigs of RAM (In Control Panel System window it says 987 Mhz, 1.00 Gb of RAM)
ATI Radeon X1600 (accoording to Everest - 512 MBs of RAM)
Realtek HD audio

The questions I need answers to-

1. Does the video card share its memory with RAM, or does it really have its own 512 MBs of RAM?
2. Can I change the video card? If not, if its an integrated one, what options do I have if I need to upgrade the GPU?
3. Does my rig support 5.1 sound?
4. Can I change my HDD?
5. How can I find out if this rig has IR built in it? Theres a "window", but absolutely nothing on it in Windows, anywhere. Everest hasnt shown anything on it either.

So far Im pleased with it, it runs BF2 just fine, BioShock and Vegas aswell.

I believe it will have 256mb VRam, and then the rest of the memory will be taken from the RAM.

Whenever I googled around, it has always specified the card to have 256 MBs of RAM, which is odd, compared to the info Everest and Windows itsself are giving (or rather, ATITool).

The ultimate goal, after Ive done enough research and have my questions answered, is where do I upgrade it if the need comes to it.
