Vid Card/Lappy

Anyone know if it's possible to put a new vid card in my Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop? my ATI Radeon X1270 Hyper Memory is a piece of poops, and I wanted to know if I can switch to an NVidia or a better ATI?

Also, would I need to change the power supply if it is possible, and if so, how do I do that? Hell...How do i take apart a laptop to begin with?! LOL.

Well if they want me to send it in to replace the parts for money, than I can just do it myself lol. Money-makerz.

I just need to know if a laptop can in general handle a 8800GTS/X or something like that.

i would say buy another laptop cos in my opinion you cant do anything yourself to a laptop let alone a dell laptop

1. Probably not. Laptop gpu's use proprietary shapes, sizes and (sometimes) interfaces. As above, you can call dell and ask them if it's possible to upgrade; if they say yes, then you can look on ebay for the specific model number of the card they offer to put in, or a dead lappy that you can salvage the part from. It is very unlikely this is going to work for you, though.
