My little case mod

So, I had an impulse today after seeing a video to make a window in the side of my case.

I went to home depot and got some plexi glass, and the other required materials, and started my little mod.

And, after a lot of work, here it is....




After that, I went out and got some LED fans to finish off the look...



Overall, it came out great, and only cost me around 25 bucks total. It looks really nice.

The only problem is that I mounted the plexiglass a little too close to the edge, so I sort of have to push on the panel to get it to pop back on and screwed in, but once its on, it's perfect!

cool mod,but you need to clean the front :p,i have the same case and clean it every week or so with a moist towel.

Yeah, I just replaced the stock fan with an led fan. It's all nice and cool still.

Yeah, I really like the look of the led's. It matches all of the other blue in my room too so it looks nice.

very sweet looking....my brother did something similar to his case...in addition to the blue led on the case fan, he put small blacklights in the case. It looks very cool...except that all the dust bunnies REALLY show up now.

Speaking of which, why don't they just make PC cases out of fans? I think I'll make a side panel made completely out of fans some time.

Just like the idea of making entire planes out of the "black box". :laugh:

even if they did make it out of that stuff, theres no way anything is going to not break when it hits the ground at 300-400+ mph. Plus, even if it did keep its shape, the impact would probably kill everyone anyways.

i saw thsi one pc in my maxiumum pc issue (cant remeber what month) and the entire side of the case had 4 fans for a total of 8 fans in the system!
