    Thats the whackiest thing ive seen done to a computer... im surprised it didnt **** it up.

    ^^ and i dont think THAT much liquid can be heated up to extreme levels. Liquids have the capacity to cool A LOT of heat. I highly doubt that it will heat up, probably only stay warm.

      No, it'll heat up, IIRC fluids have more heat retention than gases, depending on viscosity. Either way, unless there's a way to either convect/radiate/conduct off the heat, it's not going to be feasible.

      Turn the lid into a heatsink and have fins going all the way down. No high voltage crap (static included) could be allowed to go near, so Faraday cage it off and... you have a super duper cooling system that's roughly as effective as air and 3000 times more expensive.


      That sort of submersion would work well for computers or circuitry needed to run for a long period of time (say 10-20 years).
