Anyone Know A Good Fan Controller W/ Temp Monitor? I need it to control the speed of 4 LED 80mm case fans.

5.25 bay - Black ( W/ Blue LED or LCD )

I just went looking around on newegg and picked some out, I haven't read much about them, so I'm not sure if they are good or not, just some ideas.
After looking, I found this one to be the best fitting for what you want.

Looks to be a nice all in one thing. Has temp monitor, fan control, card reader, and 8 color lcd, and is black. Not that expensive either but the reviews aren't that great.

yea i saw those on newegg and the reviews turned me off .. i cant seem to find any more that are much different elsewhere either.

It seems that most of them don't have a temperature monitor, could you get a seperate temperature monitor?

I used a logisys front panel temp monitor/fan controller for about two hours. I thought it was a lot better than a root canal. Now I use speedfan.

lol , damn i have a toothache right now.. i dont want another lol..If you dont mind me asking , whats wrong with the fan control/temp display panels? are they just all poorly enginered?

I dont really want the "auto" fan control alot of the panels have.. i would much rather adjust fan speed manually and have the temp display though.i want to control 4 8 mm case fans is all..

The logysis was, yes. Lian-li has what looks like an identical product, indicating the same source...indicating you can't always trust a trusted name.

No, I thought the same thing, too. You know what I found out? Speedfan gives me all the temps I need, logged, graphed and it's always an alt-tab away. I can set the fan speeds I want by a given percentage, and save the profiles under "quiet" for writing sessions, or "3D" for...well, you know...

If you haven't tried speedfan, you should think about giving it a go before spending money and time hooking up fans and temp sensors to your components.

Also--and this is going to be a dumb question, but it never hurts--are you sure all your 80mm fans are three-pin jobbies? You can modulate volts going to a 4-pin molex, but it's a little more complicated, and you don't get an rpm readout.

i will surely give speedfan a try. no need in adding anymore hardware than I have to if software can do the job eh?
