You know how on XP you click the volume control thing, and a whole mixer comes up with tons of different options? Where the f*** are those potions on VISTA?!?!

My problem is this: I'm trying to play back .WAV files on my PC which has Vista Premium. NOTHING comes out. I can play MIDIs and Mp3s fine but not .wavs. I can't even record something with Sound Recorder [it records it to a wav file FYI].

On XP I'd have to make sure the Line In or Stereo Line In thing wasn't muted, but on Vista, it's GONE!!! I have everything possible turned up and nothing.

Just right click on the Speaker icon to get there.

I never thought of that. O.O thanks bro..

This is the ONLy option I have! I use Dell Inspiron 1521 with Vista premium, might be the culprit.

Have you installed the drivers for that card? Doesn't seem like it.

That's all factory dude, how would I even check to see if I have the right drivers? I got the laptop as such -.-

Well install the drivers off the Sigmatel site...
