Vista help..

So I put together my new system last night and installed vista. When doing multiple things like file transfers, listening to music and surfing the web I would get major hang up for 5 or 10 min. Shoot I could just be installing something and click the Start button and get a freeze up and no response. anyone running vista have this problem? if so, let me know if you have a fix or I'm just gonna have to go back to XP.

Setup e6750 8800gts 2 gigs of ram and 250gb seagate drive

Run windows update, and install everything. It takes about a week to settle down and finish indexing everything, but for me it's definately faster than xp.

ya for the first day vista is usually thrashing the hard drive doing indexing. :|

Sorry it took so long to respond but I installed all the updates, it runs like a charm now. I know for sure I will never go back to XP now.
