Could be a few different things.

First, it could be due to overheating. How many fans does it have? Now, from personal testing Ive found overheating will usually just reboot the PC, but not before an extended period of lockups/really sluggish behaviour.

Second thing could be a hardware issue. Even though its new, its possible you have something like a stick of ram on the way out. I know your a PC noob, so have a friend (that knows something) remove and reinstall all the cards/memory. Might turn out to be an improperly seated piece of hardware.

Run those virus/spyware/adware scans, might be virus related. Also update all your drivers, and be sure to update Windows.

Heres some links for your stuff if needed:
    Nvidia drivers: Here
Logitech (select combo from list): Here
    Windows (needs Internet Explorer): Here

first guess is that you're overwhelming your single-core processor with software-based audio rendering, 2 antivirus programs, at least three anti-spyware programs, and a game that relies on your cpu to "tell" a bunch of bots where to run around in single-player.

i didn't quite get what you exactly meant when you said you "can't turn them all off". If it was me, I'd boot everything but AVG, spybot, and zonealarm for my firewall, and see if turning them off for gaming solves your problem.
