We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
^True,i've heard that to.We've yet to see the 8800 series cards handle dx10 properly, from what i hear though the 9 series cards are supposed to have a powerful gpu but not as powerful as the 8800's,something weird like that.
So, going off of that, it seems to me that the x1950xtx is ≥ the 8800gts, with the x1950xtx having a slight advantage at higher resolutions, and the 8800gts having a slight advantage at lower resolutions.
immature drivers for the 8800's in November hindered it. i said it was a little old.
I'd love to see a comparison now. I tried the first 8800 drivers (97.02?) and I was getting around 60fps at most looking at the sky, updating to the latest and it's 200fps (though the memory bug still kills it).
I usually don't charge even half of what i payed for a computer part to a FRIEND. Thats why its a friend.
ATI cards have always been less effected by turning up the resolution, Antialiasing, or antistropic filtering. While the nvidia cards take great performance losses from all of these.

I don't think there's any comparison nowadays.
Review of the hd2900xt from june includes reference benchies from x1950xtx and 8800gts:
3D-графика - один из наиболее эффективных инструментов в рекламе, позволяющий расширить влияние на потенциального клиента и повысить качество преподносимой рекламы как реальном, так и в виртуальном мире
...but they don't say which nvidian drivers they used. you'd guess they must've used the most current ones, but... shoddy, ppl. vry shoddy.

wow that 2900 has got a decent lead on the gts on call of juarez.considering nvidia had had much more time to make their drivers its kind of disppointing but amd's answer to the 8800's took forever as well.
@StephenA--is that Nicole Kidman? If so, what movie?
I only ask because I think she may be stalking me.
back on topic, the xtx's aren't bad cards--512mb gddr4 makes up alot of ground for the limited interface compared to the gts. they do suck too much power to do it...with the smaller fab, the 2900 was *supposed* to address that.

im pretty sure its elsiha cuthbert as sniper 1432 gave it to me,and its not stalking if u enjoy it mega .
back on topic now.
well looks liek they didnt really fix it then?
the 2900 has a 65nm gpu right?
or am i wrong and thinking of somethign else.

hmmm...'k. i'll have to google elisha, preemptively, just in case the police need help identifying the perpetrator.
no, and yes, and no. the 2900xt competes at price point only against the gts, and not at all against the gtx. they ran into the same sorts of trouble that intel ran into when it shrank netburst. if they get the fab and architecture right, they will have experience and cost advantages against nVidia (you can "print" more processors on a sheet of silicon at a 65nm scale than a 90nm scale).
if not, we'll have a jolly wonderful duopoly between intel and nvidia for processors and gpu's...at least until intel decides to end nvidia. intel is the largest gpu mfg already, anyway. :dead:

cause they stuff theri integrated graphics crap everywhere:dead:
but i hope ati gets their stuff together just for the sake of not having a monopoly gpu market :/
oh btw mega elisha was the girl in the movie, the girl next door.
