New mouse

i just got my brand new Wolf king trooper gaming mouse.. its cool with all the little buttons but at £30 i think i was ripped off, i think i wanna send it back and get a logitech thats just like mine but newer...

but i have a few problems...
when i use it it feels like im holding something really strange and i cant aim!!!
also when i use it in BF2 perticulary i lag alot more, and it has 3 speed settings, 800 dpi 1600 and 2200dpi, i cant stand more then 800 as the others are too sensitive...

but when i use my old mouse in bf2 i dont lag at all, and i can shoot perfectly without the weird feeling (ive had this mouse for about 3 years and its dieing ) .... could someone explain that? also tell me why the mouse feels so weird, and yes its new, its a totally different shape but that shouldnt affect the skill should it, its really weird.

Maybe your just used to the sensitivity of your old mouse, your had it for a long time, and you obvously new the movements!

Give your new mouse time, one you get used to it, your get your aim back and your get used to the sensitivity!

thanks man, im handleing it on 1600 dpi, its not as pixel perfect as 800 but its not as wild as 2200, i just gotta play crappy games before i get any good at bf2 aiming lol

Maybe its just because your used to your old one, 3 years I can see why. I moved from a dell usb mouse to a logitech g5, and it did feel weird at first. My ring finger just felt out of place, it seems like this mouse was designed for people with 4 fingers, But it just took some time and i got used to it.

its super comfortable too.

this wolf king doesnt fell all that comftorable, i knew i should of got a logitech...some of there designs look like my old one and i bet they fele the same... the wolf king has a bigger *** and skirts, it keeps my fingers off the mat, but how long do you think it will take for me to get use to it? cus id like to play BF" with it but im afraid i cant lol


EDIT: the wolfking and the G5 are both huge!!! - i have big hands and my old mouse felt so tiny, but cus it was thin i could move it faster, i just looked at the wolfkings shop, the razer copperhead and the g5 shop and the razer looks like it would suit me, i dont need a new mouse just for the extra buttons, i just need a better newer mouse with faster response...and so ill be saving up £35 to buy the razer, and ill sell my wolfking on ebay for £25 or something like that...its a very nice mouse its just the left button is much higher then the right, it doesnt feel right in my hands, and it looks like it was made fora right handed guy who masterbates 24/7, and that ent me.

It took me months to get used to a new mouse, moving from some £5 Microsoft optical thing. No surprise here. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the lowest sensitivity, it throws you off that much.

Once you get used to it, it's all good though. I can't understand how people can change between Razer and Logitech every 2 months.

Be patient!! It even took me a while to adjust going from a RAZER Diamondback (1600dpi) to my new RAZER Copperhead (2000dpi). I do like the fact that RAZER lets you adjust your mouse sensitivity with "sensitivity on the fly" with just a click of a side mouse button, you can raise or lower the sensitivity in game. Also the RAZER lets you set a windows speed and a gaming speed so the cursor does not fly all over the desktop when out of game...lol

Just keep using your mouse for at least a month and then re-evaluate.
