BIG headset problem.

OK, when i use my headset on vent and on everyday stuff so its not vents problem. When i push my push to talk key and say im playing a song in the background or just my bf2 background music then can hear it. I know what your thinking its just sneaking in through the mic. But its not its really really loud and and even if i cover my mic they still hear the music. The music is being transmitted across vent via my headphones. Its a settign on my system not coreect somewhere i think. Anyone know which one ?

Are your speakers on? how loud are your headphones? I dont use vent but if they have voice activation try and use that in some sort of test mode if they have one to see where you can put the mic and not have this happen.
