First time posting on the forum and just wanted to throw some thoughts out there.....
First and foremost, THANKS. I've been reading posts on the site for the last week or so. Without having to pull the rest of my hair out I discovered the whole "run as administrator" issue for Vista. Also picked up great tips and tricks on various issues. This place has been REALLY helpful, now if only my pc specs were better!
I'm currently using an HP A6019 pc, 1 gig of DDR2 memory, ATI's Diamond Viper X1650 512mb graphics card, Intel P4 3.2 GHz proc. I don't know my specs beyond those, I'm far from a pc guru. My only complaint is that my load times are LONG 6-8 minutes maybe. I'm not sure what the speed of my HD is, but having read some posts I'm planning to max my system out at 4 gigs of memory (or the 3.2 actual it will read).
Next...I love the game....and SUCK at it. I've played maybe 45 minutes total so far so I'm certainly not expecting to be proficient, regardless it's funny how you can suck so badly at a game and still enjoy it. Meanwhile I'm sure I'm absolutely ruining any chances to start building my stats lol.
Anyway I look forward to getting wasted by you guys in gameplay until my skills improve. Who knows, I might surprise ya and get in a lucky shot or knife stab.
