    X-Fi settings

    I have X-fi working with Logitech speakers. I use Game Mode for the X-Fi. I use to be able to CMSS-3D to make my rear speakers louder but know it doesnt change the volume i still got sound from the rear speakers.

    The bf2 problem is when i have my audio settings on X-Fi i carnt hear anything bhind me like Granades and so on.

    mmm basic solutions:

    A) Check all connections to make sure there in.

    B) Diouble check your sound settings. IE somehow goes to 2.1 from 5.1

    C) Ask yourself what you did before the problem occured.

    D) Not sure which logi speakers you are using, but if they have the matrix ability make sure thats off.

    E) You can always reinstall the drivers too...

    Maybe that may help?

    EDIT!!!

    F) Go into the sound panel and have everything opened. Make sure no mute is on. It happenes... Try that in your game mode too through creative.

      That happened to me a while back, turns out all I had to do was get the new drivers, see...when a new patch for BF2 comes out, it adds the updated codecs for....say Soundblaster X-Fi cards, if they have a new update themselves.
