    BSoD On STARTUP!!!!!

Ok, i am really stressed out after trying to nail this problem. so this morning i install iTunes + Quicktime update and it told me to restart for the update to take effect. So i restart and i see a blue screen error called:

    PAGE_FAULT_NONPAGED_AREA

    STOP: 0x00000050

I can't access windows, only through safe mode, whoever fixes this problem, god bless you.
and again, i can only access safe mode but it won't let me delete anything through add/remove programs. Worst case scenerio is xp repair/ reformat

    htanks

Whack in your Windows cd, and in command promt (safe mode) type chkdsk /r

    Can you do system restores?

Says to me that there is a driver somewhere causing the problem. Safe Mode loads minimal drivers, so the fact that you can boot to Safe Mode and not Windows says there is a driver causing the problem.

Was there any reference to a specific file in the error message?

If not here is another MS knowledge base article on that error,

Fixes a "0x00000050" Stop error that occurs randomly on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.

same stop message as alex98uk posted, but a different cause and solution.

ok, ima skim down a list of thoughts

        1. Why would it happen during a restart when i had my comp on all night?

        2. If it was a graphic/soundcard driver wouldent it of happend by now?

        3. How do i get Memtest86 on a cd?

        Thanks-Dead
