    P.C Questions.

    Hello, im a new guy here, how you all doing? good i hope.

    O.K To subject, im not much of a PC Smart guy, im only 18, work full time and play online games alot, i recently had a go on Battlefield 2 and absolutely loved it!

    So, I brought a New P.C and i'd like to know if it will be able to run Battlefield 2 or will i have to upgrade it.

    Heres the Stats to my new P.C

    Stats:


    Gamers PC.

    Nvidia 8500. AMD AM 2 64 Dual Core X2 3600 ,

    Standard Case ,

    17 " Haans G Wide screen HW173D 8M/S Response,
    1 X Nvidia GForce EN8500GT 256MB Graphics ,
    80GB Hard Drives ,
    1024 DDR 2 800 MHz Memory ,
    O.S = Windows XP ,

    ye you should be able to play it with good frame rates on med, i would advise you get another stick of ram for the future, but there is no worry, at the begging of the year i didnt know much bout comp but know i do and im only 14

              the video card is the weakest link for 3d gaming. bf2 is a couple of years old, so it should still play on a mix of medium and high (where it counts=geometry/view distance) but i wouldn't crank up the aa at all w/that card.

              i've got the same brand (but 19" standard) monitor. hanns-g has been a great product so far, and their customer service in the states is A+.

              other than that, it's a very decent mid-end system for a very nice (pre-built) price.

              edit: you're going to want another hd if you play more than a couple of games or store any significant amount of audio (mp3) or video on your hd.
