Updating Problem (1.4 full patch)

I just did an clean install of BF2. I downloaded the FULL 1.4 update. I ran it and it was completed. I start the game and find im still at 1.29 (1.3)


I have uninstalled many times and reinstalled it. I also downloaded another 1.4 full update from another site and get the same problem.

What can I do?

The latest patch is 1.41, so have you tried to download that and run it?

Patch 1.41 = ingame version 1.1.2965-797.0

Alright so why do I try and join a server over Xfire it says I have a earlier version or something of the game?

Have you got V1.4 or V1.41?
