    Considering new screen...

    Hey,

I'm looking at maybe getting a new HDTV LCD and have been searching around for a 1080p screen. So far, the best deal I have found is one from tigerdirect.ca for $1,3oo and after tax ends up at just under $1,5oo CDN.

I'm still kind of in aww at how much tiger is destroying other retail stores which makes me wonder if they really are the cheapest? I don't think I'd settle for anything under 40" though as the investment wouldn't really be worth it anymore.

Hmmm... I wonder what I'll do with this samsung 206bw if I do go ahead with this.

Don't 4get the surround sound THX cert speakers!

      EDIT:

This is another one I'm looking into...

The catch with this one is that it is coming out of a sealed box with a longer standard warranty but sacrifices 5"'s...

Go donate your PC to them, 'o' generous one.

Don't feel bad if you aren't in a position to help, after all, money doesn't exactly disappear down the drain when spent.

I've been considering SLI anyways so its not a big deal but I don't think I'll need it. I do great at 1680x1050 res already. Actually, I was just discussing my FPS with someone in this thread:

So I think I will be fine. Not to mention, I won't be able to run at 1080p res because thats 16x9 aspect ratio. Computers use 16x10 so the resolution will be different.

I also have played on 50"/60" LCD screens with this computer perfectly fine.:yay:

                    EDIT

I just want to keep my computer in my room so I'll buy myself a 47" screen. This way I don't have to run upstaires to my room to go to bed or have my rents looking at what I'm doing while they are home. That and they want to watch tv too Lol... I have the perfect place to put it too! I can't wait to get it, when I do I'll take some pics of the hazard area.
