Whilst I don't like to be Anti American, I think if it's backed by a US Company, all we can expect to see is "America ripping it up", not any sense of the true scale or thoughts/feelings of the war that a European company may bring.

Band of Brothers was a great series because it didn't always focus on US victories, in fact there were a lot of situations that cast both sides as good and bad. Also, the interviews with real soldiers gave it real feeling that made the series all that better.

Let's hope they just don't fall into the patriotic fuelled story lines here.
