It is all down to personal preference, I have a Copperhead and I think its the dogs doodahs :)

I've never had a G7 so I don't know about it.

ok G7 think about this battery dies ur screwd right and the g5 is simular but the copperhead has 32k memory and easy profile changing for ingame i own the g5 g7 and the copperhead and i prefer thecopperhead over them all its refreshes so much faster

Like stated above - It comes down to personal preference and comfort. Some people think that wired mice are "held down" and will choose remote. Others, like I, h8 remote purely because it seems to always die on you at the wrong time.

As for comparing wired mice to other wired mise (visa versa remote), Look at quality/durability (durability referring to distance mouse travel before optical engine begins to fail) and the optical engine.

I have both a G5 and a razor copperhead the razor is really sensitive but its very slim line and it makes my hand ache so i prefer the G5 as its bigger and more comftertable

As the others have said its self preferance but if ya like me and got big hands stick with the G7
