Sup guys. I read on another post about people discussing what are the best drivers to use for BF2. I have a PNY G-Force 8800 GTS 640MB, and all I have ever done was go to N-vidia's website and downloaded their lastest driver. Are ther other drivers out there that are better. If so could you tell me where to find them.
Thanks,
Shanne
Yes, but they have spent time optimizing the control panel for gaming. Take a look at some of their comparison screenies, there is a clear difference in image quality without sacrificing FPS.
You could do it yourself and get the same results, but it might take you a few hours to find the optimum settings. Try 'em, and if you don't like them, use the latest official drivers.
i only use drivers straight from nvidia! They also have an archive section so if the newest driver does not work that great on your system you can always download an earlier version. my current favorite driver is 91.42 forceware/driver.
good luck with the drivers...each system responds differently so try a bunch an see what works best for YOUR system...not jus what works best on others rigs
