Will my rig run BF 2142 on its full settings?

I've always been playing on medium settings, I was going to put it to its max, but my friend told me its going to crash your computer and it might not even work anymore, so I never tried. Would this rig handle BF2142 and BF2 on its max settings?

I'm pretty sure it can handle it, but then I just wanted to make sure.

I would say yes, Im buying a rig almost identical to yours so im hoping so. The only time ive heard of settings causing the game to crash is if there running a low end system and try to max it out. You for one are not.

Ok, I just tried it, it was really lagging hardcore at first and then its normal now, i'm just hoping nothing bad will happen. Thanks

6600 + 8800gtx + 2gb? tell truth: did you post just to brag about your rig?

if not, delete your bf2 cache just to purge the old textures, and let 'er rip on all high, and then some.

Well, actually this is my brother's computer, and i'm not good with computers and I know nothing about them, the only thing I know about is the video card.

yeah ...no worries. That rig will run BF2 on all high. The Commando is a very nice board, and that setup has lots of room for overclocking.

wtf kind of ? is that 8800 gtx and will it run 2142 on max and if your friend said that hes a fin dumb*** i run on hight and i have a 8600 gts
