Bf2 On Laptop

Hi all,

Just a quick post wondering if anyone could tell me which graphics cards you can play bf2 on a laptop with, just looking at a laptop with ati x1300 on it at the moment wondered whether if would be able to handle bf2 and to what state minimum settings etc,

I play it on my laptop sometimes, mines a core duo 1.6 with a gig of ram and an x1400 and it runs on medium.

I just got my first laptop, it has an 8600M GS 256mb (couldn't afford the GT), Core2 Duo 2.0Ghz, 2gb of memory. I play BF2 on all high, 1024x768 resolution, with AA off. For 2142 it's the same except for texture and lighting which are on medium. If you're looking for laptops, make sure the graphics card is dedicated, and it does not have share memory.

Sir swanston do u have a vista os or xp? cause i want to order a laptop with a 8400M- G 256 megs do u think it will kill in bf 2?
here are the specs of the lappy:

intel core 2 dou T7300 dual core (2 x 2.0GHZ, 4mb cache)

1gig of ddr2 ram corsair (wil upgrade in a month from purchase\0

256megs with up to 1 gb turbo cache memory GO 8400M-G

OS XP home edition (supports it i checked)
