So I just got my shipment from NewEgg today and dropped in 2 more gig's of ram so over all I am running the following.
            AMD64 X2 2.0Ghz Dual-Core
            Asus M2N-E
            Kingston 3Gig memory (2*512mb + 2*1gig) = 3gig :)
            Nvidia 7600GS 256MB
            Antec 450Watt PSU

I am running the game at its fullest, highest resolution, 100% viewing distance and everything on High with antilicing at 4X and yet I didn't get even one jitter. Runs extremely smooth and loads up quicker :).

Well I guess this buy was what I was looking for and now I have a perfect setup to play BF2 on :)

              Bollocks you do.

2 GB is not a "must", it's handy, but i play BF2 on high just fine (and thats with 4xAA - which for some wierd reason uses more RAM itself!)

dual monitors? if you run BF2 across both monitors with that card on high with an FPS over 30 i will eat my hat.
