I saw an Open Box LCD moniter on there. It's because it is discontinued, samsung came out with a new version.Comment

Open box means literally that. It's been opened, usually because someone decided they didn't like it and returned it.Comment

Re: what is a Open Box on newegg
Most significant difference: after 15 days, you own it forever, no returns to the egg, no mfg warranty. You can't return for parts, you can't return for labor, you can't return because it just stopped working.
Oh, and there's a high likelihood that you WILL NOT get any accessories even if the item requires the accessory to function with your hardware--i.e., adapters, cables, etc.
Newegg has their explicit Open Box Policy on their website, but those are the two most important aspects for most folks.Comment

Re: wtf is going to happen to my order??
"discontinued"=you may have purchased the final one
'egg is usually pretty good about shipping you what you paid for. If they ran out before you ordered, they'll issue you a refund.Comment
