    Spring Clean

Just a reminder to those people who don't give their computers a regular clean, it can be the source of a lot of overheating problems:

Before i cleaned my comp, my processor wass running at a warm 35c

However, after cleaning it, it dropped by almost 10c, and is now running at about 24c

This was the amount of crap actually on the CPU HSF

So one very good tip to help keep your computer in full working order is to give it a vacuum ever so often.

Yeah, when I installed my new graphics card yesterday I gave my case a good clean. I haven't checked the temps though.

My sodding case doesn't have dust filters, and even if bought some, it would mean unscrewing each and every grill on the front of my case!
