need a new sound card? or some settings screwed up?

i have a headset, but whenever i talk through my mic, either through vent or bf2 it picks up every sound it hears. Like if i have music playing, and i press my talk key on vent, the mic picks it up and plays it. Its so annoying in game and during talk sessions, i can never talk when other people do. Id have to wait.

I have onboard sound right now, looking into getting a new soundcard soon.

In vent goto Setup > speech, in the "output device" tab try changing it to the actual soundcard instead of "direct sound device"

That or spend the extra $100 and get a good Sound Blaster Card!!! You don't need to get the top end Xi-Fi, but a good Audigy 2 will do wonders for your system!!!

that did not work. but thing is it bleeds through, i think its the soundcard im going to buy a cheap one to fix the problem. im not a audiophile so i dont really care about the sound.

Maybe i need to update my sound card drivers? Realtek ALC 883 chipset if anyone can find the drivers for this onboard sound would be pefect.

If nothing works i guess till i buy my new sc i could just higher my outbound on vent lower my inbound and lower effects in bf2 so they could hear me over the noise in the game.

            there is error

An error has occured while running the setup
Please make sure you have finished any pervious setup and closed any applications. If error stills occurs please contact your vendor.

I guess ill just wait till i get a new soundcard in a week or so.
Do you think the sound card will fix the problems i have since it is actually a peice of hardware?
