    Would restoring my computer help any lagg? ive only got 9.5gb left on it

    I wouldn't have thought so. Try defragging your drive as it sounds like you have a lot on there.

        Reinstall Windows? Always works for me. Its easy as long as you can back up.

            Try deleting the cache folder in my docs > Bf2. Maybe the shaders need reoptimising

              Delete any program you need, and make a Drive Cleanup.

                Deleting BF2 shaders cache after a long time usually helps out some.
                C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

                  I did one of those the other day, freed up about 7GB of space. I had crap on there I never thought I had. lol

                    Use CrapCleaner (CCleaner). It can clear up gigs worth of space.
