I have a problem with my volume in bf2. Everything is ok untill the game loads then i can hear everything on the entire map. I have checked and rechecked my audio config. All sound devices are working properly.

Re: volume problem
I mean I can be at one spot on the map and hear what is happening on the other side of the map. I hear everyones gun fire and everything else. It doesn't matter where it is on the map. I don't have to be close to it at all.

j/k. have you tried changing sound/audio to software mode, or changing the settings in the sound quality. otherwise, update your drivers if you're using a discrete non-hardware supported card or your chipset drivers if you're using onboard sound.

Re: volume problem
what soundcard are you using? or are you using onboard sound? I'm guessing your using onboard sound with a realtek chipset. try an updated driver from your motherboard maker, or direct from realtek if thats your chipset.
When I had realtek onboard sound, I could always hear arty fire from anywhere on the map. It was kind of nice. Arty firing > change location = no death. :p"Crunch's First Officer"
