I just bought a logitech internet chat headset from radio shack today. I plug it in to the back of the computer and do some test runs on my computer to make sure everything is all good to go. Everything is good to go and I start the game. I run the test on the game settings and the mike is set and works fine. I join a game, and join a squad to check if it works. My squadmates said that they could hear me fine. All is good until about five minutes after I start playing. All of a sudden, my when I push "B" to chat, the sound button that is supposed to appear next to the map in the upper right hand corner of the screen doesn't pop up. I quit and check the settings, all my settings that I had previously set had been deleted and reset to default. So, I try to reset them to where I had them at before, but it acts like I have no mike plugged in and won't let me change anything. I think it is my disc, but I am not sure. Please help.

This problem is probably caused because of the server or server lag. There shouldn't be a reason for your microphone to just go out like that. I really doubt that there is a problem with the microphone. Did you try joining other servers? Did you pop one of your keyboard keys? -

Yep, I have tried other servers. I have no idea what is wrong. Could it be that I have not downloaded the 1.41 patch?
