Settings I could play on with a 7600GT?

Im thinking about getting this card:

My processor and ram -
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.66 Ghz
Elixir 2x512MB PC2700 DDR333

I was wondering what type of videosetting's I could play on BF2 with this video card?you think i could max them out?

medium/with high settings but make sure textures are on medium or youll get horrendous lag.

Would do all medium, some high at 1280 fine

Probably couldn't run all max with only 1GB RAM total, but a nice blend of medium/high isn't unreasonable. Here's what I run:



Gives a good blend of looks and FPS.

cool thanks for posting that Screenshot Stillhouse,yea i have a GeForce 5700 now and play at 800x600 with everything on low,so I would like to get a AGP card that can run it at pretty decent setting's

No, I've got 2GB, I meant the OP has only 1GB. Personally I just don't see much improvement in quality going from medium to high on most stuff. And you have a better CPU than I do.

The only setting that relies on a good CPU is Geometry.

Here's the settings I use. With this rig, I could just max everything out, but these are settings I found that work best for game play, regardless of what your pc is capable of (unless of course you need to run on all low). :

1280x960 @ 85Hz (this depends on your monitor, may need to lower)

Terrain - medium
Effects - low
Geometry - high
Texture - high
Lighting - low
Dyn Shadow - medium
Dyn Light - medium
AA - off
Text Filter - high

View Distance - 100%

oo i dont think i can play BF2 without AA lol, it makes me cringe...
