New Computer(HELP)

Okay, I hope this time it doesn't get deleted. I have waited for a week and no one replied, plus there were about 10 new views. I think my other topic keeps getting ignored so I decided to make a new one. This is going to be my first attempt in building a computer. I mostly chose everything except for the RAM, HARD DRIVE, and the DVD-RW DRIVE. If you can help me find those 3 things I need please support it with a link. Also, feel free to suggest better parts than the ones I already have. I am willing to spend about $1500 no more. One more question, do I need anything else that I don't already have? I do not want a mouse,keyboard or a monitor.

Your gpu is linked to a newegg, rest of your components are bought from Canada-land? Incorrect? If you are able to buy from newegg you can do a lot better (price-wise, especially) for a 680i mobo.

oh, and x1950xt >>> 7950 gt for only $10 more out the door, $30 after rebates.

I've got this card, a sapphire x1950xt. It runs everything I throw at it mahhhvelously. Only gripe is the loud fan.

I bought this cpu cooler (Freezer 7 Pro) because it is an excellent cooler, but also because it was much easier to install. Uses same push pin setup as OEM cooler

but, having no experience with installing windows fresh from SATA optical drives, I'd be superstitious and probably stick with EIDE for my optical. That's just me, though:

For the soundcard, as best as I can tell Creative is not using their x-fi chip in that x-fi extreme audio soundcard you linked to. HA! I found the link to the wiki:

In other words, you might be better off using onboard than buying a rebadged SB Live model.
