Sound corrupted on front panel

Hi all!

I have a weird problem.

When I plug-in my headphones and microphone on my front panel the sound gets twisted around so the sound coming from left comes from the right in the headphones.
On my back panel everything is fine.

Now I was wondering if there is anything I can do. There are no later drivers than the ones I got for Vista.
And this has been a problem even before I had Vista.

Is there any smart program which can switch L to R and vice versa?

My headphones are Icemat Siberia and my sound is integrated on this mobo: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=1883

Are you using a sound card or onboard?

Could be that the lead connecting the front panel to the mobo or card is the wrong way round or something. I'm not sure whether it is one plug, or two (One for left and one for right).

As I said in my post (I edited it probably a few seconds after you read it) it's onboard.

Its probably the front panel connector is plugged in backwards either on the front panel or the mobo side plug. I've bought 2 cases where the front panel connector was plugged in wrong.
